What is Reiki?

Well, pronounced ray-kee, Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things.

The word Reiki is made up from two Japanese words,  (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”.

When people talk about getting a Reiki session, they are describing the spiritual healing modality known as Reiki, which channels this universal life force through the Reiki Practitioner’s hands to the person receiving the Reiki.

Not religious in nature, it is spiritual and comes from God, Source or All There Is. You do not even have to believe in it for it to work. It’s gentle and a very effective form of energy work.

Our bodies are magnificent creations, designed to heal themselves and continue living and functioning for as long as possible.

While Western Medicine can be very helpful in treating physical symptoms, a Reiki session can be very relaxing and help relieve and release stress. A session can also help support the body in creating an environment for its own healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional

It is believed that a person’s “ki” (chi) or energy should be strong and free flowing.

When energy is flowing freely through the body, a person’s body and mind are in a positive state of health.

Blocked or weak-flowing energy can lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Animals also respond very well to Reiki, as they are already in harmony with Life energy and Nature. Reiki can help with separation anxiety and trauma.

HOW TO PROCEED AND WHAT TO EXPECT

First, send in your Paypal order. Then e-mail me at peacefulsoul.blog@gmail.com with your Paypal receipt number and your request.

I ask for the receipt so I can match it with you, the client. I will reply to schedule your sessions via the e-mail address you use to contact me- not the address on your Paypal receipt within 72 hours.

Many people are busy so you can choose for me to send it as you sleep or a time during the day when you’re home and have quiet time to relax.

I will send you a text as I begin and when I finish. Please be relaxed, preferably on the couch, a recliner or on your bed. Having reiki or relaxing music is also recommended but not necessary. I enjoy Dean Evenson.  Scroll through and see what tracks you enjoy. You may drift off to sleep, possibly feel a tingling, warmth, cold or just a peaceful time.

Being Intuitive, I may receive messages for you while in session and will text them to you afterwards. If you don’t hear from me, it’s because it was a lovely Reiki session and nothing came through at the time. It DOES NOT mean anything is wrong. It just wasn’t meant for you that day.
